Camp Māk-A-Dream is a cost-free camp program for cancer survivors and their families. The camp is located in Gold Creek, Montana, approximately 65 miles east of Missoula. Founded by Michigan residents, Harry and Sylvia Granader, Camp Māk-A-Dream has welcomed more than 8,000 kids, teens, siblings, women campers, and young adults since it opened 26 years ago.
Camp Māk-A-Dream offers a variety of activities, including swimming, a ropes course, archery, outdoor games, hiking, arts and crafts and putt-putt golf. Educational content and workshops focused on promoting well-being offered at many camp sessions. Group discussions occur at all camp sessions.
Medical supervision is provided at each Camp session. The health center is a stand-out facility where camp can administer cancer treatments and can even isolate patients when medically necessary. Medical information about each camper is reviewed by the medical team so that they are able to provide the best possible care. The Michigan Chapter provides partial or full financial aid to campers who are in need of travel assistance to Montana. Please complete the travel assistance forms and return to the Michigan Chapter as early as possible. Travel scholarships are based on financial need of the camper and funds available.

You must go online to register for all camps in 2020 at www.campdream.org. Call 406-549-5987 if you have any questions in regards to the online application. The Michigan chapter cannot schedule travel until the camper has been registered and confirmed by Montana.
